Download FAQ / June 29, 2007

Dear friends,

To download a textbook, please left-click on a link and then enter numbers in the corresponding field. Please make sure you have enabled JavaScript and pop-ups in your browser: on your computer, open Chrome. At the top right, click More. Settings. Click Privacy and security Site Settings. Pop-ups and redirects. Choose the option that you want as your default setting.

Artefact website must be added to your browser list of secure sites (copy URL to your address bar, it won’t open by clicking on it):

chrome://settings/content/insecureContent

To make sure you settings are o.k. and you’re supposed to be able to download books, please click here. If the pop-up window doesn’t show up, the problem is definitely on your side. Before writing me an e-mail, please try the following:

  1. Shut down your download manager and disable all plug-ins it may add to your browser.
  2. Temporarily disable any monitoring software, including firewall and/or antivirus program.
  3. Consider trying different browser/computer.
  4. Try holding the Alt or Ctrl key when you click on download file button.

Please report all the problems to the webmaster. Your message must contain information of your OS and browser, as well as title of a book you tried to download. If that info is missing, you will not get a response.
